Hardanger
After an introduction to Bergen a short ferry-ride takes you across the Bjørnefjord to the Hardanger Fjord area known for its steep mountains, its small hillside farms and its orchards. Weather permitting Folgefonna Glacier will come into view. A stop after lunch to walk behind Steinsdalsfossen without getting wet is a must before ascending the breathtaking Tokagjelet Gorge to Kvamskogen mountain plateau. Mountainous landscapes, waterfalls and a number of tunnels lead you back to Bergen. Ample possibilities for stops at cultural institutions of your choice.
